Payment Policy

How do I register or pay for a program?

Registrations are accepted online only. During the registration process you will be asked to enter a valid credit/debit card. This card will be charged the monthly fee (varies by program and location) on the same day of the month every month.

How do I cancel or stop a payment?

We can stop or suspend the charge at any time. Please email us at cherie@launchyourkid.com or fill out the form on our cancellation page.

Can I register without using the online registration system?

If you are uncomfortable using our online registration system you may call us at 704.277.2327 to register via phone. A valid credit/debit card is still required to process your registration. Please note, Launch Your Kid does not accept checks, cash or money orders for registrations.

When I go online to register it says to contact the school. Why?

Some schools handle payments directly and Launch Your Kid invoices the school. As of August 2013, these schools are all Chesterbrook Academy locations and Kiddie Academy. Please contact your school director/principal for registration forms.

I got a new credit card, how do I update my card?

If your credit/debit card expires or you get an updated card number, it is your responsibility to log into your account and update the card number. Once logged in, click on “Payment Methods” then “Add New Payment Method”. Be sure to click the box “Use above card for all Future Payments”. You may also contact us to update your card information on file. If your card is not able to be charged, we will no longer be able to take your child to our class.

My child was ill and missed several classes, can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, payment is due regardless of absences. Launch Your Kid is unable to pro-rate or refund for missed classes.

My family is traveling for a month, do I still have to pay for the program?

If your child will be away for an extended amount of time, please contact us in advance and we can pro-rate your tuition.

How is tuition calculated?

Tuition is based on four-week months. In months with five-weeks, class may not occur on the fifth week. We will use this extra week for make-up or holiday classes.

What happens to tuition during holiday months, like December?

Launch Your Kid will pro-rate tuition if your school will be closed for more than a week. If we are unable to make up a class, we will refund you the missed class or pro-rate the next month tuition.

My child’s dance instructor was sick and didn’t teach, can I get a refund?

Launch Your Kid will make every effort to work with your child’s school to make up a missed class. Due to the school’s schedule, sometimes we will add time (15 minutes) for two weeks. If we are unable to make the class up, we will refund you one class or prorate the following month.
